I enjoy these old tales and this is one I had never heard before. The group is under the tutelage of Magneto and they’re lying down for it. This book has all the detail that "It Didnt Have to Be This Way" lacks in one cover.That said, I do have several complaints.The author is Catholic and he leans toward conservatism, he mentioned in several places papal social and economic encyclicals ala Thomas Woods Jr Maybe it's my long studies with Mises and Rothbard, both atheists, that have gotten me acclimated to "just the facts please" and leaving out the conservative religious fluff. "There's something wrong with this car." The same goes for salary negotiation. It contains recipes, tables of correspondence, and witty commentary on how to use scent-based spells. My goodness, girl, of what other problem should you be thinking?"The Gas Light Empire is an alternate future where the industrial revolution never happened and instead there was a war that separated England. Enough being said ,that's really just my opinion.I have read the books over and over again so I know what I am talking about.Lily fans,don't be harsh on me for this review,but nancy Rue could have come up with something better for the 8th book.. Probably the single most destructive move was the retitling of 'personnel' to 'human resources'. There was more to Hank than one might realize.. Fun times with these cards.
