The writing style is rambling and disconnected at best. Life has a dark side.We meet an artist who wants a friend to help him decide what art that he creates is good, but his friend has motives of his own. I laughed and I cried, and loved the way the author is able to be faithful to historical details, to the letter themselves, and at the same time make us feel we are on the scene. Please note that the correct name of the author is Nirmala Lee (not Nirmaria Lee).. There's a bit of a skew here then, towards her particular interests, such as education, which is fine. I cannot say anything bad about this collection, other than it is short. ("Angst" shifts rather too frequently for me between a general readership exposition and tactical advice to clinical psychiatrists, but for the psychiatric community this formula might work well.)The title of the book is intriguing, As I understand Kahn, the struggle of consciousness, one of Kahn's six instincts, to guide us to counter-instinctive behavior gives rise to angst. This book makes me not only want to be a non-smoker, but makes me believe that I can do it.. This book targets those people in the middle who are open to the idea but don't really know how to start and need a bit of a push to get going.
