I loved the input reminiscent of the circles of women that congregate in many Hispanic households. I felt about this book the way I feel about most contemporary feminist theory; that it is a lot of talk and no action, that it is inaccesible, written for the privileged. Pooja was against the arranged marriage from the start and created a deep rift between daughter and mother. Yes, I went to some yoga classes after reading the book, but more importantly it served as a reminder to try to find my own "best self" and not take myself so damn seriously.Highly recommended.. At the head of each contribution, Bergman provides a helpful biographical note. Written in friendly format and language structure.The 3rd book is good, comes with more recipes but also smoothies are included. We didn't have the opportunities that girls and women of the Title IX generation do. This book is a disservice to these severely disabled children and their families.. Pretty good book but.
