Kahn has no idea how to structure or even write in a coherant and strong manner. If that reviewer knows so much I didn't quite catch the names of his books. More importantly, his "call to arms" (cleverly and emotionally tied to the tragic suicide to his own family) nailed home his point that something needs to be done to stem the present course of CO2 with a sense of immediacy!The book was well researched from both a scientific and historical perspective. I was hoping for the same level of storytelling from the individuals interviewed--however, this time I found the stories to be flat, and uninteresting after awhile. The arrival of this Australian seemed, however, to be exactly what the "Champs" needed as these animals were at the bottom of The North American Animal League. In a time of full employment, you could always go back to school, get a job fairly easily, or get a government subsidy of some sort. The only problem? It was against the law. This subject is a very serious subject indeed and the condition of depression is severe. But nevertheless it ia an exciting picture book containing a lot of beautiful and shocking fotos.
