This book is filled with kindhearted humor and colorful descriptions of true incidents in the life of the author - and most often, the people are far more colorful than the animals! His own story, told in the introduction and the last chapter are truly inspirational. I grew up in Oak Ridge in the 60's and 70's and my father worked on the Molten Salt Reactor Experiment. This is a nice, easy to read Paleo cookbook that gives tips and background information. My only issue is that it did not come with a binder. Ironically, before creating her pirate radio stations, the author wasn't actually a huge alternative music fan and mentions attracting all sorts of semi-famous musicians to the station,without being all that steeped in their music. Perhaps she brought it on herself; if Carpenter hadn't tried to expand her signal strength who knows how much longer she would've had?This book raises questions about constitutional law, ownership of low watt radio signals, etc. An Excellent book. Yes, there is a lot about yoga in this book and Pollack's journey through yoga is the story, but this book is really about a a guy who is on the verge of a full-blown midlife crisis and attempts to deal with it by re-discovering his "best self." Pollack pulls this off by avoiding sentimentality and self-pity - his wit and humor is sharp and hits the target.
