This book is best read with at least that book, as well as the rest of a truly magnificent series. I couldn't put this series down. One example in this category is the Screwworm Fly. It's light on a dark subject.. Furthermore, it is noted by several denizens of the Marchioness of Englebury's circle who then seek favor. The memories of many of these places now lie in the mind's eye of the few who remember them and in books and postcards.
