. He has fished commercially for salmon and herring, operated a salmon tender and is currently managing editor of the Homer News. She has a biological science degree from Syracuse University and a photography degree from Montana State. She was in the Peace Corps in Burkina Faso, Africa.

Because I have no background or knowledge of biology, some scientific concepts presented in this book were difficult to understand. But then I turn to this book, and it always helps me figure out what to do.I'm 66 days sober today, I don't want meth, I can deal with the cravings I experience sometimes, and I'm going very strong. The authors have done a ton of research, gathered and collated "street results," and written a book that is actually a great deal of fun to browse through (thanks in large part to the inclusion of many brief "case histories").They also get big points for examining accepted wisdom and analyzing the methodology of previous researchers. I object to a bias in the book in favor of career professionals. This book is great. Has good examples. Unfortunately, since the most common drug is alcohol, the issue often becomes confused by the fact that most of us can drink in moderation and without acting badly toward others. Robert Hunter died May 2nd, 2005, shortly after this book was published.
