I enjoy these old tales and this is one I had never heard before. Few dates are presented to help the reader follow the timetable (which is likely because the scenes are re-sequenced for dramatic effect). One example in this category is the Screwworm Fly. good. So much going on. Anyway if you want to know about direct limits and ultraproducts (key constructions in set theory), this is the book to buy. As well as listing contact details for all IMMF members (including me!) it is down to earth, full of practical tips, it tells it like it is. The book was a ray of hope in an otherwise scary situation. While his compassion is strong, it tends to read like a teenagers diary. Like Darwin's Voyage of the Beagle, the book provides a vivid description of a remote part of the world that few of us have or ever will see. The book is sliced and diced by issue area, making it easy to navigate, and the contact information for each organization listed makes it easy to get moving. This IS NOT a book to put in the library and rarely look at; rather it IS a book to keep open on your desk, to have dog-eared pages, highlights, and bookmarks, in dozens and dozens of places. For anyone who desires to move the start-up entrepreneurship into the Fortune 500 and beyond, this book IS a must-have.. And I am delighted each day that they did. The problem with it is simple. Definitely for an older child though (probably 4 oLaura Numeroff's understated text, combined with Joe Mathieu's vibrant art, creates a nonsensical world that will have readers in stitches -- and dreaming up their own characters and antics for this playful menagerie..
